Since 1961, Hollywood Lamp & Shades has provided the industry with high-quality products and has maintained being a valuable source in acquiring a variety of fabrics to meet designer needs. Founded by Herbert Remstein in Los Angeles, the early years of the company struggled against other competition. However, leading hotels took notice of the fine detail to quality that HLS produced for them. Coupled with outstanding customer service and quick turnaround, Hollywood Lamp & Shade became a reliable and reputable company for manufacturing.

Coming on board in 1990, Fred Nadal added his own expertise and knowledge to the company making it one of the best in the industry. With their expanding knowledge of materials and product scheduling, Fred & Herb made Hollywood Lamp & Shade Co. a leading manufacturer within the lighting industry. After several decades of consistently remaining true to quality, Herb Remstein passed away leaving the company to Fred. In the year 2020, Fred Nadal decided to retire from the business and passed the Hollywood Lamp & shades tradition down to his son, Kenneth Nadal.

To this day, Hollywood Lamp & Shades maintains its traditional old-age values by hand cutting, assembling, and sewing modern-day shades. Each individual shade is carefully handled, utilizing new and standard fabric and materials from current markets. Your shades are artistically designed and set to any dimension you desire; so don't be afraid to leave anything out!
